The Partnership for College Completion has announced the full agenda for its 2024 Virtual ILEA Equity Institute on Friday, April 12. The day-long, online event brings together hundreds of like-minded higher education professionals, staff, faculty, administrators, students, advocates and community members to exchange best practices and learn from leading experts in the field.
This year’s theme is “Empowering Students: Fostering Equity Through Basic Needs and Financial Support Structures,” and all of the sessions will focus on how to collectively empower and better serve diverse students from various socioeconomic backgrounds by cultivating a culture of care on college campuses, while supporting bachelor’s degree completion.
It was previously announced that Dr. Sara Goldrick-Rab would serve as this year’s keynote speaker. In addition to that fireside chat session, Program Officer Ireri Rivas Mier y Teran will present the ECMC Foundation’s Basic Needs Initiative.
