Christian Perry joined the Partnership for College Completion as our first Director of Policy and Advocacy this month. We’re thrilled to welcome him to the team!
Before joining PCC, Christian Perry served as the Deputy Political Director for Governor JB Pritzker’s successful re-election campaign and as a top political advisor to Mayor-Elect Brandon Johnson. Christian is a Community Organizer, Leadership Strategist, and Political Scientist from the Southside of Chicago. Christian is a proud Navy Veteran and Board of Trustee Member at Trinity Christian College.
“I’ve dedicated my career to fighting for equitable access to opportunity for communities that have been left behind and intentionally marginalized,” said Perry. “Obtaining a college degree drastically changed my life, and I’m excited to join the Partnership in fighting for a future that makes successful college completion a right for every resident of Illinois.”
Christian earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Minor in History and Education Studies at Trinity Christian College. He is currently a candidate for a Master of Public Administration, Strategic Public Management & Leadership at Northern Illinois University.
