Congratulations to Wright College for being named a 2022 Examples of Excelencia finalist by Excelencia in Education. Wright’s Engineering program was identified as one of 20 evidence-based programs having a positive impact on Latino college students.

National Louis University also was ranked #18 Nationally and received a Social Mobility Ranking of #4. Congratulations also to Governors State University on being ranked #4 Best Bank for the Buck in the Midwest! Washington Monthly’s rankings rate colleges based on their contribution to the public good in three broad categories: social mobility, research, and providing opportunities for public service. They also rank Best Bang for the Buck colleges, which help non-wealthy students obtain marketable degrees at affordable prices.
City Colleges of Chicago and Richard J. Daley College launched a Welcome Back Center to help guide students who are internationally educated and licensed nurses through the credential and licensing process to be able to work as a nurse (RN) or a health professional in Illinois.
