With summer around the corner, I want to take a moment and express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering commitment to higher education equity and the work we do at the Partnership for College Completion (PCC).

Blanca Jara. Chief of Staff.

Your support to advance our work to better serve students and the institutions that educate them has been transformative for our organization and countless Black, Brown, and low-income students across our state.

Over the next 18 months, PCC will work tirelessly alongside our partners to pass legislation centered around the recommendations from the Commission on Equitable Public University Funding. Our goal is clear: to ensure colleges and universities have the resources they need to prioritize outcomes for all who want a college degree–including Black, Brown, and low-income students our current system has marginalized for far too long.

We’ll need all hands on deck to make this historic change to how Illinois funds its public universities, and we invite you to join us as we raise public awareness about how critical this moment in time is for our state and our students.

Together, we can make strides across Illinois to ensure every student and every institution has what they need to succeed.

In Partnership,

Blanca Jara, Chief of Staff
