With summer approaching, I want to express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering commitment to higher education equity and our work at PCC. Your support has been transformative for our organization and countless Black, Brown, and low-income students across our state, and the higher education institutions that educate them.
We recently launched a new fundraising campaign to help continue our work, as we seek to make an impact on higher education equity in both policy and practice. PCC is the only organization in Illinois that works both in the legislature and on campuses to ensure equitable policies are in place, and that unique approach enables us to address systemic obstacles to college graduation for low-income, first-generation, Black, and Latinx students.
With support from across the state and beyond, we truly believe that we can make strides across Illinois to ensure every student and every institution has what they need to succeed. Dedicated equity practitioners and advocates like you are critical to our mission and we will continue to do all we can to support you along the way.
