Join us on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 for our Transforming Illinois Higher Education Virtual Advocacy Day! This will be a day for us to convene with other higher education advocates to elevate our voices and urge our state elected officials to support equity-centered higher education policies and investments.
On this day, participants will have the opportunity to meet with lawmakers and their teams to provide information about the issues facing students in higher education and also share some of their own personal experiences going to a college or university in Illinois. The day will kick off with a rally from 10:00am-10:45am to celebrate our accomplishments thus far and discuss the work ahead.

11AM-5PM – 30-minute Virtual Meetings with Legislators
This is a free event where participants will also have the opportunity to engage in advocacy in different capacities, which include social media posts and engagement, emails to elected officials, and virtual meetings.
First time speaking with a lawmaker?
