The Partnership for College Completion welcomes two newest members to its team: Jason Gaya and Caroline DeHaven.
Jason joins as the Finance and Administration Manager, bringing skills in accounting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
Caroline joins as the Policy Intern, offering project support to both the public policy and the research and data teams within the organization for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Jason Gaya, Finance and Administration Manager

Jason developed a prowess for improving each organization’s financial processes, increasing revenue growth, and enhancing operational efficiency across multiple industries.
In his new role with PCC, Jason will manage the organization’s accounting workflows, reconciliations, and vendor relationships, all while streamlining operational systems to increase efficiency and financial transparency.
Before joining the PCC team, Jason served as the Business Office Manager for a Chicago-based marketing agency in addition to other prior finance and managerial roles. Inspired by his own personal and professional experiences with inequity, Jason believes that fair access to college education empowers individuals and their communities, offering them more opportunities for long-term success and stability.
Jason holds a master’s degree in business administration from Northeastern Illinois University and a bachelor of science in finance from the University of Illinois Chicago.
Caroline DeHaven, Policy Intern

Caroline is a first-year graduate student at the University of Illinois Chicago, pursuing a master’s degree in urban planning and policy.
Prior to entering her master’s program and joining PCC, Caroline helped to coordinate the 2025 Boston Architectural College pre-college program and worked with Successlink, a Boston-based organization that pays teens to attend summer enrichment programs.
Through these experiences, Caroline was inspired to pursue an academic career path that would positively impact students. As a current student in Illinois, Caroline resonates with PCC’s message and mission, and looks forward to the opportunity to learn more about and contribute to educational policy creation and implementation.
Caroline also holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston University in urban studies and hospitality and communication.
