Allison Blanchard, Communications Manager

Allison brings four years of experience to PCC, and specializes in creating tailored strategies for organizations through narrative-based copywriting, content creation, and campaign management. Before entering the higher education equity space, Allison worked as a Communications Coordinator for a Chicago-based law firm, and previously served as a Marketing Assistant for a compressed-air equipment manufacturer in Erie, Pa.
Inspired by her own experience as a first-generation college student, Allison believes that access to higher education can create life-changing opportunities for students from underrepresented communities.
Allison holds a bachelor’s degree in integrated marketing communications and international relations from Duquesne University.
Sonny Metoki, Senior Manager of Policy and Implementation

Prior to joining PCC, Sonny worked as a Senior Higher Education Policy Analyst for EdTrust Tennessee, where he led the development of EdTrust’s higher education policy portfolio. There, Sonny focused on issues related to higher education affordability and undocumented student success, working with a wide variety of institution partners and community-based organizations.
As a first-generation American, Sonny knows firsthand the doors that higher education can open, and strives to ensure that each student has the opportunity to succeed.
Sonny holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Michigan State University, and a master’s degree in public policy from Vanderbilt University.
